Cleverushe

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026. General information about our practices; not legal advice.

The one-paragraph version: Cleverushe keeps to itself. It runs entirely in your browser, asks for no account and no device permissions, loads nothing from third parties, and stores your high scores on your own machine. The only time we would ever see personal details is if you choose to type them into a form. This policy reflects Canadian privacy expectations such as PIPEDA-style meaningful consent, but it is not a guarantee of compliance.

Who this covers

Cleverushe ("we," "us," or "our") is a free, browser-based arcade for a general audience. We try to know as little about you as we can — the notes below spell out exactly what happens when you play or send a message.

Information involved

Device permissions

Cleverushe asks for no permissions from your device or browser. It does not use the camera, microphone, location, notifications, or contacts, and it loads no third-party scripts, fonts, or trackers. The only storage it touches is the small amount of localStorage used to keep your scores and choices.

Your high scores

Each game's best result is saved in localStorage as a plain number tied to this browser and device only. It is never uploaded, shared, or shown to anyone, and it does not sync between devices. Wipe it any time with "Clear My Local Scores" on the home page or the cookies page.

Cookies and local storage

We rely on local storage rather than tracking cookies. Strictly necessary storage runs the games and remembers your choices; the optional Preferences and Analytics categories stay off until you switch them on, and no external analytics load today. The Cookie Policy lays out the controls.

The optional forms

Our forms ask for the minimum. Any marketing box is unticked by default and is never folded into accepting our terms. Both forms work by opening a pre-filled draft in your own email app, so no submission ever reaches a server we control and there is no database to store it in. Should we ever add server-side form handling or analytics, this policy will be updated in the same change that enables it, and any optional category will stay off until you opt in.

We aim to follow PIPEDA-style meaningful-consent ideas: clear language, optional categories off by default, and easy changes. Playing never requires personal information or optional cookies. Change your mind whenever you like via or "Clear Privacy Choices."

Access, correction, and deletion

Subject to applicable law, you may ask to see, correct, or delete personal information you have sent us, and withdraw consent. Use the request form on the Contact page or email [email protected]. Because your scores sit in your own browser, you can erase those yourself.

Outside services

The site is plain local files — no embedded third-party games, iframes, pixels, or analytics. Once you deploy it, your host and anything you add later (a form backend, analytics, and so on) become third parties; list them here first.

How long we keep things

Local scores and choices remain on your device until you clear them or your browser does. For anything a future backend receives, keep it only as long as the purpose needs and state that period here.

Younger players

Cleverushe is a general-audience site, not aimed at children. We do not build profiles, ask for birthdates, or knowingly collect personal information from children. See Parent / Guardian Info.

Security

We take reasonable, general safeguards suited to a static site. No method is perfectly secure. If you add a backend, encrypt data in transit, store as little as possible, and revise this section.

Updates

We may revise this policy from time to time; the "Last updated" date will change, and continued use after that means you accept the update.
